The Bird Treehouse

Description

A birdhouse in a tree is a place to breathe, calm down, and be closer to nature and birds. It is a space created between nature and civilization. This place is near to the Bird Paradise in the Žuvintas Biosphere Reserve, which has as many as 247 species registered in 5442 ha. and the village of Verebiejai is right there.

Abuot the Treehouse

The cabin is small, it is designed for two people. 8 sq. m. in the area. There is one room with a double bed, surrounded on all sides by windows. Here you will find all the most necessary things for a cozy night - dishes, candles, board games, blankets. There is a window on each wall of the cabin, so while spending time in this small space, you will be able to observe the cycle of the sun and the play of shadows in the treetops.

Around the house, there is a large terrace between the treetops, here you will find a hammock and tables and a couple of chairs, where you can comfortably sit down and read a few books about birds that we have selected for you.
There is a fire pit at the bottom of the house, there is a barbecue, grills, and dishes suitable for the campfire, if you don't want to cook on the campfire, you will also find a tourist gas stove here.

Nearby, also in the trees, there is a composting toilet with a sink. There are dishes, tools, equipment for food production (barbecue, campfire, tourist stove), tea, sugar, honey.

There are dishes (a couple of plates, cups, glasses), tools, equipment for outdoor cooking (barbecue, fire pit, gas tourist stove, grill, skewers, teapot, pot), tea, sugar, honey.

Characteristics

The cabin is designed for two people. Only adults can stay overnight in the cabin, minors are accepted only if one of their parents stays with them. Parents can come with small children and spend the night in one bed (no extra charge, but please let us know when booking). We do not accept pets.

There is no heating, so the house only invites in warm weather. No showers and toiletries. No electricity, just light from candles for the evening.

Additional services

Horse riding services, a tour of the "Praeities pavara" homestead. These services should be reserved in advance.
